These terms cover your use of Nest Expense Tracker ("the app", "we"), a personal and household expense-tracking app. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these terms.

The service

The app lets you scan or manually enter receipts, categorize spending, track budgets, and optionally share a household ledger with people you invite. It's provided as-is, and we may add, change, or remove features over time.

Your account and data

You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
You're responsible for the accuracy of the expenses, receipts, and household information you enter.
If you invite someone to your household, they can see the household's shared receipts and balances until they leave or you remove them.
You can delete your account at any time from Settings — this permanently removes your cloud data and local receipts. See the Privacy Policy for details on what's collected and stored.

Acceptable use

Don't use the app to store or share unlawful content, attempt to disrupt the service, or access another user's account or household without authorization.

No financial advice

The app is a personal record-keeping tool. Totals, budgets, and reports are for your own tracking purposes only and are not financial, tax, or investment advice.

Disclaimer and liability

The app is provided without warranties of any kind. We aren't liable for lost data, inaccurate receipt scans, or disputes between household members over shared expenses or balances.

If these terms change, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
